Training at HRI

Serious commitments require serious preparation.

HRI training exists to prepare serious individuals for stable, values-aligned long-term relationships and family formation. Our approach is structured, discreet, and standards-based.

Why Training Matters

Character, discipline, and readiness are not incidental to long-term partnership — they are prerequisites. HRI training addresses what most people leave to chance: the personal formation required to sustain a stable, values-aligned relationship and family.

Training is also available for individuals and couples already in long-term relationships who wish to strengthen their partnership and develop greater relational competence.

Training at HRI is also part of the vetting process — it reveals character, commitment, and seriousness in ways that an application alone cannot.

Training Standards & Values

A Values-Based, Non-Sectarian Institution

The Heritage Relations Institute is a values-based, non-sectarian, and non-tribal institution dedicated to strengthening individuals, relationships, marriages, and families within Uganda's diverse social landscape. Uganda is home to many tribes, religions, and cultural expressions. While these traditions differ in language, rituals, and customs, they share common principles regarding family, responsibility, dignity, and social order. Our work is grounded in these shared Ugandan civilizational values, not in the doctrine or authority of any single religion or tribe. HRI training is not casual attendance. Participants are expected to respect time, confidentiality, instructors, fellow participants, and the standards of the Institute. Participation requires application, vetting, payment of applicable fees, and acceptance of HRI's code of conduct.
